Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge by the hour?

NO. I don't price by the hour. Pricing is determined on an individual project basis.
Clients are like snowflakes, no two are exactly alike. Neither are their budgets.
The point is, I almost always find a way to accommodate a clients budget.
In many cases it's simply a matter of a client saying
"I have this much to work with, what can I get?" and we take it from there.

How do you determine
how much my quote will be?

Quotes are based on a variety of factors including:
Amount of Illustration, Final Art (B&W or Color), Usage,
Circulation (when applicable), Deadlines, and Quantities.

How long does a typical illustration take?

The average turnaround time for a spot illustration assignment
from sketches to final art is 2-4 days.
I have been known to produce an emergency spot in less than an hour.
More detailed illustrations depending on complexity and rendering is on
a project to project basis.

If you are interested in getting a price on your project,
I would be happy to provide you with an estimate.
