Do you specialize in children’s books?
Yes. Children’s books are my main focus. I illustrate stories for young readers and understand how visuals, pacing, and character consistency support a strong, engaging story.
Do you use AI to create your illustrations?
No. All illustrations are 100% original and personally hand-drawn by me using professional digital illustration tools. I do not use AI-generated artwork, stock images, or templates.
This ensures your book receives consistent characters, expressive emotions, and artwork created specifically for your story—with the human creativity and storytelling sensitivity that children’s books require.
What age groups do you work with?
I illustrate for picture books, early readers, and chapter books. Each age group has different visual needs, and I tailor the artwork to suit your audience.
Can you adapt your style to fit my story?
Yes. While my work has a recognizable style, I adapt it to match your story’s tone, genre, and target age—whether it’s playful, gentle, adventurous, or whimsical.
How does the illustration process work?
We start with your manuscript and a discussion of your vision. I create character sketches and rough layouts first, so you can see how the book is coming together before final artwork begins.
Will I be involved during the process?
Absolutely. Illustration is a collaboration. You’ll review sketches and layouts and can provide feedback before final illustrations are completed.
I’m new to publishing—can you guide me?
Yes. Many of my clients are first-time authors. I’ll guide you through the illustration, layout, and production steps in clear, simple terms.
How much does children’s book illustration cost?
Pricing depends on the number of illustrations, level of detail, and overall scope. I offer clear packages and custom quotes, so you know exactly what’s included.
How long does a project usually take?
Most children’s book projects take several weeks to a few months, depending on length and complexity. I’ll provide a realistic timeline before we begin.
Do you design covers and book interiors?
Yes. I offer complete children’s book design, including cover design and interior layout, and deliver print-ready files for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and other printers.
Who owns the illustration rights?
You receive the rights needed to publish and promote your book. All rights and usage terms are clearly explained in our agreement.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your manuscript, target age range, and any ideas or references you’d like to share. If you’re unsure about any of this, I’ll help you figure it out.
What’s the next step?
Simply get in touch. I’ll review your project, answer your questions, and let you know how we can move forward.
